The Sands Hotel Public Relations Records document the history of the Las Vegas casino and hotel from 1952 to 1977. It is comprised primarily of photographs, mostly 8x10 black-and-white prints, color prints, and transparencies. Most were produced by the Las Vegas News Bureau. Also included are newspaper clippings, brochures, press releases, and inter-office memos relating to the advertising and promotion department.

The Robert E. Robinson Legislative Papers are comprised of materials relating to Robert Robinson’s career in the Nevada State Legislature as an assemblyman and senator from 1970 to 1986. The papers include correspondence, assembly bill research, bill proposals, roll calls, and materials from assembly committee meetings. The collection also contains Robinson’s campaign materials, including financial disclosures, press releases, advertisements, and correspondence with voters.

Citizen Alert is a Nevada-based environmental organization established in 1975 in response to Yucca Mountain being considered as the repository for the nation's nuclear waste. The records in the collection date from 1971-1999, with the bulk of the records from 1988-1996 and focused on issues of concern to Southern Nevada.

The Perry Kaufman Papers (1930-1974) are comprised of research material gathered by Kaufman for his doctoral dissertation, "The Best City of Them All: A History of Las Vegas, 1930-1960." Kaufman's research focused on the Las Vegas, Nevada Chamber of Commerce's role in promoting Las Vegas as a tourist destination. The collection primarily consists of newspaper clippings from the Las Vegas Review-Journal and the Las Vegas Sun.

The National League of American Pen Women Las Vegas (Nevada) Branch Records contain eight scrapbooks documenting the club’s activities between 1950 and 1990. The National League of American Pen Women (NLAPW) brings women interested in the arts together for professional development, networking, and social activities. In 1951, Lucile Spire Bruner led efforts for the founding of the Las Vegas branch. The scrapbooks include meeting minutes, newspaper clippings, correspondence, and photographs.

The Michael Loewy Papers (1985-1991) contain bylaws, correspondence, conference programs, suggestions and evaluation forms, agendas, and minutes for the Desert Mountain States Lesbian and Gay Conference. Also included are correspondence from the Lesbian and Gay Academic Union (LGAU) at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, fliers, and an Empower Each Other directory.

The Rodney Sumpter Papers on Doe v. Bryan contain the legal files of the lawyer Rodney Sumpter, who represented the appellants in the Nevada District Court case Doe v. Bryan (1985) and subsequent appeal in the Nevada State Supreme Court in 1986. Doe v. Bryan challenged one of Nevada's sodomy laws (NRS 201.190), and the collection contains affidavits, motion requests, correspondence, newspaper clippings, and memoranda regarding the case.

The Aquavision Records (1986-1997) include bylaws, correspondence, and publications by Aquavision, a community action group concerned with water conservation in Southern Nevada's Las Vegas Valley. The collection spans 1986 to 1997. The records show Aquavision’s activities, including its public information campaigns, awards for water conservation, and newsletters.

The Nevada Statehood Commemorative U.S. Postage Stamps and Coin collection contains one sheet of the 1964 Nevada Statehood Centennial Stamp, printed from plate number 27798, and one proof copy of the 1964 Nevada Centennial Medallion.

The Nita Longo Rieger Collection on the Desert Chapter of Gold Star Mothers consists of materials dated from 1947 until 1995 from the Desert Chapter of Gold Star Mothers Inc. located in Las Vegas, Nevada. It includes newspaper clippings about the group, a history of the chapter, photographs of meetings and member events, and programs from the dedication and rededication of a monument erected by the group.
