Munford, Gordon, 1929-1999

Musical director and arranger Gordon Munford was born June 8, 1929 in California. He was a nine year resident of Las Vegas, a member of the Musicians Union and the American Symphony Orchestra League, and past board member for the Association of Musical Arrangers. Munford directed and conducted more than 65 musicals from off Broadway’s “Little Mary Sunshine” to the Tony Award-winning Broadway hit “1776.”

Jerry Crawford was born on August 20, 1934 in Iowa. He earned a scholarship to Drake University for baseball. He graduated from Drake with a bachelor's in theatre, and went on to earn a master's degree from Stanford as well as a Ph.D. in playwriting from University of Iowa.

Sabbath, Dennis, 1943-2000

Dennis Sabbath (1943-2000) was a prominent lawyer and community leader in Las Vegas, Nevada. Born July 17, 1943 in New York City, he grew up in Washington, D.C. He attended the University of Maryland and the University of Chicago Law School. In 1967 he married Roberta Sterman. The couple moved to Kodiak, Alaska in 1969 where Dennis performed legal services such as marriages, guardianships, and adoptions through the programs Legal Aid and Volunteers in Service to America (VISTA). After about two years in Alaska, the Sabbaths moved to Las Vegas.

Mansergh, Margo (Margaret Elizabeth), 1927-2020

Margaret "Margo" Mansergh was born on September 3, 1927 in Blackpool, England. Marsergh began her career as a model in London before moving into dancing, modeling, and eventually as a showgirl in Las Vegas, Nevada. Mansergh was part of a touring company of the Lido de Paris and in the 1960s she began work as a dancer in Frederic Apcar's Vive Le Girls lounge show at the Dunes Hotel.
