The Art Sloan Collection of Las Vegas Memorabilia (1931-2005) consists of items from Las Vegas, Nevada casinos and hotels such as the Flamingo, El Rancho, and Hotel Last Frontier. Materials include ashtrays, silverware and glassware, postcards, photographs, dice, playing cards, matchbooks, and other casino memorabilia. Materials also include Nevada license plates from 1933 and 1936 and a hard hat from the construction of the Hoover Dam.
The Horse Racing Collection (1927-1979) contains brochures, handicapping information, programs, and articles written by Harry McCalla related to horse racing. There are also advertisements and clippings from racing forms. This material covers various venues in the United States.

The collection also contains a personal scrapbook containing photographs, fliers, and memorabilia from his early education and military training.

Materials include personal letters, drawings, professional papers, newspaper clippings, photographs, magazines, commericially produced sheet music, and related ephemera.
The Garwood and Joan Van Family Papers (1920-2003) contain scrapbooks, photographs, newsletters, correspondence, and newspaper clippings collected by Garwood Van and his wife Joan Van.The collection includes material on Garwood's music career as a popular band leader in New York, California, and Las Vegas, Nevada as well as material about Joan's early life as a model and dancing career.
The Alice Elizabeth Farrar Quay Family Papers are comprised of newspaper clippings, photographs, and correspondence dating from approximately 1830 to 1960 collected by Alice Elizabeth Farrar Quay documenting the Farrar Quay family's relation to Benjamin Harrison. The collection includes information about Alice Elizabeth Farrar Quay's inquiries into her relation to Benjamin Harrison V, Governor of Colonial Virginia and signer of the Declaration of Independence, and presidents William Henry Harrison.
The Tobias Mattstedt Menu Collection (approximately 1990-2009) is comprised of menus documenting the restaurant industry in Las Vegas, Nevada, the United States, and internationally. The menus include restaurants located in Las Vegas casinos, most notably the MGM Grand, located in Las Vegas. Included in the MGM Grand menus are restaurants such as the Pearl, Tabu Ultra Lounge, and the Grand Wok and Sushi Bar. The collection also documents menus collected by Mattstedt that are not affiliated with the MGM Corporation.
The collection is comprised of records that document Nancy Cummings-Schmidt's career as a librarian for the Clark County Library District from 1975 to 1981.
