Workers stand in front of Prince Consolidated locomotive. Train hauled ore from Prince Mine to Pioche depot. J.B. Wheeler ran the engine at one time; Jimmy, his son, was fireman 1914-1918.

Transcription with photograph: "Panaca [Nevada] jail in one of these caves, iron grill gates served as doors." Pioche desperados were put in Court Rock and held captive until it was time for them to make an appearance before court.
