Oral history interview with Fenton Tobler conducted by Mark Oakden on April 24, 2002 for the Public School Principalship Oral History Project. In this interview, Tobler reflects upon his 31-year career as a teacher and administrator with Nevada’s Clark County School District from the 1960s to the 1990s. In this interview, Brewer reflects upon her 36-year career in education, with the bulk of those years being an administrator in the Clark County School District from 1985 to 2005. She discusses her teaching experience that led up to her pursuit of administration, and describes the regular duties that she faced as an elementary school principal. She also describes the importance of fostering relationships between teachers and administrators, and offers suggestions for how to foster such relationships.
