Oral history interview with Margaret Crabbe, conducted by Patricia van Betten on January 14 and January 19, 2004 for the History of Blue Diamond Village in Nevada Oral History Project. In this interview, Margaret Crabbe discusses her upbringing in California, her education as a schoolteacher and her move to Blue Diamond, Nevada in 1949. She briefly talks about her husband, Lester, and his work as facilities manager for both the Blue Diamond Mine and Blue Diamond Village.

Oral history interview with John W. Crabbe conducted by Patricia van Betten on January 19, 2004 for the Blue Diamond Oral History Project. In the interview, Crabbe discusses moving to Blue Diamond Village in southern Nevada as a child in the 1950s. Crabbe talks about attending Rancho High School in Las Vegas, Nevada and the long bus commute he took daily to school. Crabbe then recalls his experiences horseback riding in Bonnie Springs, Nevada and his employment at Howard Hughes' airline, Hughes Air West.

Oral history interview with Joseph J. Buckley conducted by Patrick Carlton on July 17, 2002 for the Las Vegas Rotary Club Oral History Project. Buckley opens his interview by detailing his participation in the Rotary Club of Las Vegas, Nevada, including offices he held. He then recalls his upbringing in New York through the mid-1950s, his employment at Rockwell International, and the work he did to test components of the Apollo 11 spacecraft.

Oral history interview with Virgil Brownlee conducted by Patricia van Betten on May 02, 2012 for the History of Blue Diamond Village in Nevada Oral History Project. In this interview, Brownlee discusses his personal history and living at the Blue Diamond Village, Nevada in the late 1930s. Brownlee describes the homes that were built in the Village, joining the U.S. Air Force in 1949, and living in Bonnie Springs, Nevada.

Oral history interview with Patty Boyd conducted by Joyce Marshall Moore on October 24, 2003 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. In this interview, Boyd discusses her personal history and living in Boulder City, Nevada from the 1930s to the 1950s. She describes the construction of Hoover Dam (Boulder Dam), segregation in Las Vegas, Nevada in the late 1940s, recreational activities in Boulder City, and the growth of Henderson, Nevada. Lastly, Boyd recalls the blackouts during World War II and the plane crash of Carole Lombard.

Oral history interview with Larry Clinesmith conducted by Patricia van Betten on February 07, 2007 for the History of Blue Diamond Village in Nevada Oral History Project. In this interview, Clinesmith discusses his upbringing and decision to pursue a degree in biological illustration. He then talks about graduating in the early 1970s and the beginning of his career with the Nevada State Parks system as a ranger at the Spring Mountain Ranch State Park. He details the early years of the Park, the history of the Spring Mountain Ranch, and the many changes to the Park and the surrounding area.

Oral history interview with George Bogdanovich conducted by Gretchen Schroeder on September 08, 2009 for the History of Blue Diamond Village in Nevada Oral History Project. In this interview, Bogdanovich discusses his parents immigrating from Europe to the United States and how they met. He describes the mining process for gypsum in Blue Diamond, Nevada, including transporting the mineral. Bogdanovich recalls the living conditions in Blue Diamond and how residents got their water and electricity.

Oral history interview with Evan Blythin conducted by Patricia van Betten on September 26, 2006 for the History of Blue Diamond Village in Nevada Oral History Project. Blythin opens his interview by discussing his early life on an Arizona ranch and his decision as a young adult to pursue higher education, which led to his PhD in philosophy and communications. He then talks about his move to Nevada in the late 1960s to teach communications at Nevada Southern University, now the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and his work to develop the communications department at the university.
