Two images show the funeral procession of Wardle's younger brother, Orley, who died of meningitis at the age of eight; the remaining image shows the Tonopah schoolhouse with children lined up in preparation for the funeral procession.

Images portray Tom Wah and his wife Gue Gim Wah posing in front of the one-room school house where Tom served meals and lived for a short time prior to purchasing the mine store. Images are reproductions created between 1982 and 2020 of scenes from approximately 1920 to 1939.
