Janis Rounds is a travel agent and real estate agent who has lived in Las Vegas since 1963 and has been involved with the Las Vegas Jewish community in many important ways. This includes serving as a chairwomen of Women’s Philanthropy for the Jewish Federation of Las Vegas, serving as secretary for the Board of Directors for the Federation, and serving on many other committees and board for the Jewish Federation of Las Vegas. She has also worked with Congregation Ner Tamid where she was a board member from 1993-1998 and President of the Sisterhood Congregation of Ner Tamid.
Oral history interview with Flora Mason conducted by Barbara Tabach on December 08, 2014 and January 17, 2017 for the Southern Nevada Jewish Heritage Project. Mason discusses living in Las Vegas, Nevada since 1965 with her husband, Stuart Mason. Mason also discusses her involvement with the Temple Beth Sholom, the Foundation at the University of Nevada, and various Las Vegas libraries.

In this interview, Braun discusses growing up in Puerto Rico, family life, and moving to Indiana in the 1960s. She describes summer visits to Mexico City, Mexico, meeting her husband there, and converting to Judaism. Braun talks about her experiences as a Puerto Rican Jewish convert living in Mexico City, and moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1975. Later, Braun discusses how she got started in catering and opening her catering business, Le Royal Dreams. Lastly, Braun talks about her diverse clientele.
