Interview with Monroe Williams conducted by Claytee D. White on August 15, 2000. Williams was one of the first black firefighters in 1963, later becoming involved in real estate. He and his wife, Brenda Williams, were community leaders.
Eric Henninger interviews Detective Ronald Bananto at his home on March 15, 1981. Born in Coal Run, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Bananto moved to Pioche, Nevada in 1949. A year later, and after a short period in San Francisco, California, Bananto relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1950. Bananto discusses police work, and life in Pioche, Nevada.

Hughes, famous flier and TWA executive, was at the controls during the flight made in 8 hours, 38 minutes. Many Hollywood luminaries made the first flight. Credit (ACME). 2-15-46."
