Los Angeles, May 29, 1952 7334 Mr. V, W, Smith* (G€ * Mr. C. M. Bates - 2 Mr. L. A, White Mr. W* H« Johnson Mr. Calvin M. Gory Mr. w, F. Harp) The Railroad Company entered into Agreement Audit Mo, 60563, effective October 10, 1944, with Lewis H. Cox to supply water at Las Vegas, Hevada. This agreement was assigned by Mr* Cox to A. A. Asphalt & Construction Company, Inc., effective April 1, 1950* This was superseded by new agreement with A. A* Asphalt and Construction Company, effective April 1, 1950, and expiring March 31, 1952, being assigned Audit Mo. 73599. It has not yet been renewed. Your attention is called to Agreement MID Ho. 26, Audit Mo. S727, dated September 15, 1952, between the Railroad Company and LVL&WCo., covering license to operate and maintain 4*, 6" and 8* east iron water line at rear of property fronting on Main Street, between Caress Street and Carson Street, from which line LVL&WCo. supplies water to industries fronting on Main Street. You will note from Exhibit WA* print attached to this agreement that this water line connects with Railroad water supply through an 8H line and water meter at Clark Street (extended). The water connection and meter supplying Lewis H» Cox and A. A. Asphalt and Construction Company takes off the southerly end of LVL&WG©. owned 4* and 0* pipe line, and it appears that the water agreements above referred to should have been between LVL&WGo • and the user Instead of the Railroad Company and the user, and all amounts collected by the Railroad Company for water supplied since October 10, 1944, should be refunded to the LVL&WCo• as the Railroad Co. bills the LVL&WCo. for water supplied through the 16" meter at Clark Street. i A.
