Description

From the Dennis McBride Photograph Collection (PH-00263) -- LGBTQ+ events and organizations in Las Vegas, Nevada -- Digital images file. Notes from the donor, Dennis McBride: This is a photograph of the exterior of Snick's Place queer bar shortly after it opened in 1976. The automobile belongs to owner Ralph Vandersnick for whom the bar was named. At the time the bar opened, its address was 1402 South Fourth Street. The address was changed in the 1990s after substantial road work in the area eliminated Fourth Street at this location.
