Los Angeles - August 3, 1934 19 Mr. W. R. Bracken, State Agent, Las Yegas, Hevada. In accordance with past practice, we are attaching Los Angeles & Salt Lake Railroad Voucher, audit Ho. 5494 in favor of W. B. Mundy, Tax Receiver, Clark County, Hevada for $56,856.99 in payment of fourth instalment of taxes for year ending December 31, 1933 which are delinquent August 6, 1934. There is also enclosed original and one copy of official "Hotice of Protest", the original of which please hand to Mr. Mundy with the voucher and have the copy receipted by him in space provided therefor on Page 3 and returned, by you, direct to Mr. Charles Adams, Land and Tax Agent at Los Angeles. We are also today sending copy of the "notice of Protest" to the Hevada Tax Commission at Carson City for its information and record. We are also enclosing Las Yegas Land and Water Company Voucher Ho. 308 covering payment of fourth instalment of taxes for year ending December 31, 1933 in the amount of f£,0S4.11 which also please deliver to Mr. Mundy simultaneously with the above. There is, however, no "notice of Protest" to be delivered with this voucher. Will you please deliver these vouchers Monday morning August 6, 1934 to the County Tax Receiver as outlined with request that tax receipts, properly receipted by him, be returned to you as soon as possible. Receipted bills should then be returned by you to Mr. Adams. Will appreciate if you will wire receipt of the enclosed. Enel CC-Mr. Charles Adams
