Maynard, Kermit, 1897-1971

Kermit Maynard was a stunt actor and circus performer, known for performing uncredited in over a hundred films and television series between the 1920s and 1960s. Born on September 20, 1897 in Vevay, Indiana, Maynard performed parimarily in westerns in both silent and sound films. Of his numerous roles, he is credited for performing stunts in the Howard Hughes-produced "The Conqueror." Maynard died on January 16, 1971 in North Hollywood, California.

Walter Mayo was a film production manager and assistant director active between the 1920s and 1940s. Mayo was born on November 05, 1898 in Macoupin County, Illinois. He is credited for films inclduing the Howard Hughes-produced Two Arabian Knights (1927). Mayo died on August 13, 1965 in Los Angeles, California.

Reed, Luther

American film director Luther Reed was born on July 14, 1888 in Berlin, Wisconsin. He started his career in film as a subtite writer in the 1910s, and he eventually began directing films. Reed was the first director on Howard Hughes' Hell's Angels, although he quit shortly after production began, citing Hughes' interference as his reasoning. He died on November 16, 1971 in New York, New York.

Prival, Lucien, 1901-1994

American film star most known for his voice and appearance Lucien Prival was born on July 14, 1901 in New York, New York to Nanny Krisch and Louis Prival. Prival married E. Jean Kinder on March 22, 1932 in Orange County, California. Prival starred in 64 films in his career from 1926 to 1953, including Howard Hughes' The Racket (1928) and Hell's Angels (1930). He died on June 3, 1994 in Los Angeles, California.
