Description

Film soundtrack conductor and composer, Milan Roder was born in, what is as of 2021, Osijek, Croatia on December 5, 1878. He moved to the United States via Rotterdam, Holland from Karlsbad, Austria in 1914, and became a naturalized citizen in 1915. Roder was most known for his work on the films Robin Hood, Scarlet Emperor, and Sign of the Cross, he also worked on Howard Hughes' Hell's Angels as an arranger. He spent over twenty years working for Warner Bros. studio. He died on January 23, 1953 in Los Angeles, California, widowing his only wife, Josephine.
