Jerry Fox (1937- ) is a Las Vegas, Nevada businessman who owned Foxy Dog restaurant, several gift shops, Lasting Memories camera company, and Vegas Threadz wholesale embroidery company. He was born December 29, 1937, to Abe and Ellena Fox in Los Angeles, California. The Fox family moved to Las Vegas in February 1955, where Abe opened Foxy’s Delicatessen, the city’s first Jewish deli. After graduating from Las Vegas High School in 1956, Jerry Fox worked at Foxy's Deli for about ten years.

In 1976, Gene Greenberg decided to accept a job transfer with Donrey Media Group and relocated from Laredo, Texas to Las Vegas. Las Vegas was comfortable fit and for the next 30 years, he primarily worked in television ad sales. He rose to become executive vice president and general manager of KVBC-TV.

Significant to Gene’s ties to Las Vegas have been his ties to the Jewish community including his active involvement with Young Leadership, Jewish Federation, and Temple Beth Sholom.

Arlene Blut was born July 30, 1940 in Duluth, Minnesota, where she attended a Conservative Jewish. She met Michael Peikoff while attending the University of Minnesota, and they married before he began medical school in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Blut followed her husband’s residencies and fellowships to California, Michigan, and Manitoba before they came to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1971.

Jared Shafer is a former board member of Temple Beth Sholom in Las Vegas, Nevada. He served as president of the congregation from 1984 to 1986 and also managed the temple's preschool. He moved to Las Vegas in 1944.
