Las Vegas Grammar School stands on a desert lot. Bare trees scatter the landscape around the school. [Taken 1910-1920]. This building was later named the "Historic Fifth Street School."
Pahrump Valley Company in 1916. Left to right you can see the Telford duplex home, company car, rear of blacksmith shop, company store, and post office. A handwritten inscription on back of photo reads, "1916 Pahrump Valley Company left to right - Telford Duplex home, Company car, rear blacksmith shop, comapny store and office. Notice size of trees, poplars & cottonwood, etc. c. 1983," it also has a Pahrump Tribune stamp on back.
