Description
This is comprised of all the Tweets captured and the images that were associated with the collected Tweets. The Tweets are expressed in JSON and have been separated into zip files representing 24-hour intervals.
Access to these data is restricted to UNLV faculty, staff, and students. These data are accessible online, at UNLV Lied Library, at: https://n2t.net/ark:/62930/d1z31nv8w. Due to the size of the dataset, direct file transfer is also available at the UNLV Lied Library during Special Collections and Archives hours of operation. Visit the Special Collections and Archives Reading Room located on the third floor of the Lied Library to receive a direct transfer of files. Abstract
The Castaways Hotel and Casino Photograph Collection, approximately 1963 to 1987, consists of black-and-white and color photographic prints and negatives. Images depict the exterior of the entrance to the property, the mega-pylon sign, the pool area, and the “Gateway to Luck” replica temple in the courtyard area. The interior images depict various hotel rooms and suites, a couple dining, and a performance by Rusty Isabel, an entertainer in the Kon Tiki Lounge inside the property.
