Joseph Kohn served as the Cantor at Temple Beth Sholom in the 1960s and 1970s, and was appointed to the University of Nevada Board of Regents in 1974.

Rose sells real estate in Las Vegas, Nevada.  She also did the real estate deal to sell the old Temple Beth Sholom location, and attended the Temple Beth Sholom construction celebration in Las Vegas, circa 1996.
