Susan Rhodes was a member of Temple Beth Am in 2006-2007 when the congregation merged with Adat Ariel to form Temple Sinai. During 2006 Rhodes served as Sergeant-at-arms during Temple Beth AM at meetings that were held to discuss the financial issues faced by Temple Beth Am and as secretary during the 2007 merger.

A street on the Westside is named for Elgin Holbert's grandmother, Viola Cunningham, who was an early land owner. It is believed that in 2002 she donated the property for Madison School now renamed Wendell P. Williams Elementary School. Although from Eudora, Arkansas, a few miles from Mississippi, his parents are a mixed couple, mother is White and father, Black. His mother was treated well in the Westside community but was very private concentrating on rearing her children with little community interaction.

Wilma (Frank) Bass (1939- ) is a retired Las Vegas, Nevada jewelry salesperson. Born and raised in New York, New York, Bass graduated from high school around 1958. She married Burt Bass in 1960 and the family moved to Las Vegas in the 1974.
