Oral history interview with Felice John "Rocky" Russo conducted by Marta Planzo on March 14, 1976 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Russo discusses his life and living in Las Vegas, Nevada. Russo describes moving to Las Vegas to work in construction, later becoming a teamster, and making deliveries in several towns in Nevada. Russo also talks about seeing Howard Hughes at the El Rancho Hotel and Casino and Hughes' effect on the town, how Las Vegas has changed and expanded, and the various social clubs in the city.

Oral history interview with Hal G. Curtis conducted by Forrest Rupley on March 09, 1978 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Curtis discusses recreational activities in Las Vegas, Nevada during the 1960s, and describes the changes in recreational activities throughout his lifetime. Curtis also recalls Lake Mead, changes to the location along with camp grounds in the surrounding area. Curtis goes on to discuss the maintenance and origins of labor unions in Las Vegas.

Oral history interview with Jack Ruggles Sr. conducted by Donald Parker on March 15, 1978 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Ruggles describes moving to early Boulder City, Nevada in 1931 as a child due to his step-father's supervisory job at the Hoover (Boulder) Dam. Ruggles describes life in Boulder City and later becoming a construction worker and helping to build the Basic Magnesium Plant in Henderson, Nevada. Ruggles goes on to discuss his career and experiences as a police officer in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Oral history interview with Ray Ruff conducted by Scott Benjamin on March 13, 1981 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Ruff discusses moving to Las Vegas, Nevada from Chicago, Illinois in 1954. Ruff also discusses his employment and the environment at the Desert Inn Hotel. Ruff later discusses golf and Las Vegas politicians.

Oral history interview with Rosemary Ruymann conducted by Bruce Kraft on February 16, 1977 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Ruymann discusses her career as a teacher and life in early Las Vegas, Nevada. Ruymann also describes the excitement surrounding the construction of Hoover (Boulder) Dam and the kinds of people it would attract, such as the president, engineers, and dentists concerned with the amount of fluoride in the proposed area for Lake Mead.

Oral history interview with Bradley Rothermel conducted by Claytee D. White on July 31, 2006 for the UNLV @ 50 Oral History Project. Rothermel discusses his career as a coach for the Chicago Cubs and athletic director at the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) from 1981 to 1990, as well as the history of the athletic programs at UNLV.

R. Ian Ross talks about his family moving to Las Vegas, Nevada from Los Angeles, California and working at the Sands Hotel and Casino as a busboy. He then discusses starting a law firm with Jerry Snyder and Oscar Goodman, starting his own law firm, serving as an assemblyman, investing in real estate, and serving as president of the North Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce. Irmalee discusses her family moving to Las Vegas from Reno, Nevada, being an active member of various social organizations, and working as a teacher.

Oral history interview with Charles Payson Rosetta conducted by John Reade in approximately 1972 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Rosetta discusses moving to Las Vegas, Nevada from Massachusetts. Rosetta later discusses golfing and his career in the hotel business. Lastly, Rosetta describes his employment under Wayne Newton including Newton's horse breeding ranch.

Oral history interview with Arne Rosencrantz conducted by Claytee D. White on February 09, 2010 for the Voices of the Historic John S. Park Neighborhood Oral History Project. Rosencrantz discusses living in the John S. Park Neighborhood from 1954 to 1970. He also talks about his father, a professional violinist who owned furniture stores and played at the Sahara Hotel and Casino. Rosencrantz then discusses his career as a business owner of Garrett's Furniture and a real estate agent.

Oral history interview with Bess Rosenberg conducted by Jerry Masini on November 18, 1975 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Rosenberg describes coming to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1942 and the desert landscape she saw when she came here. She gives an in-depth recollection of the first atomic test, and talks about the weather and the seasons in Las Vegas. Rosenberg describes several clubs and hotels around downtown and the recreation at Lake Mead and Mount Charleston.
