Oral history interview with Toni Clark conducted by Joanne L. Goodwin on July 02, 1996 for the Women's Research Institute of Nevada (WRIN) Las Vegas Women Oral History Project. Clark opens her interview describing her childhood in Seattle, Washington. Clark then discusses moving to San Diego, California in 1941 and becoming a waitress at the Monte Carlo bar and restaurant. Clark then discusses how war rationing affected daily life and the nightclub industry. Clark then talks about marrying Wilbur Clark, moving with him to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1944, and the history of the El Rancho Vegas.

Pitzer discusses her childhood in small Illinois towns and meeting her future husband, Doug, when they went to rival high schools. Pitzer also discusses moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in July of 1954, living on Nellis Air Force Base, working as a nurse at Las Vegas Hospital and Clinic from 1954 to 1957, and later working for a private obstetrics practice.

Oral history interview with Charles W. Hunsberger conducted by Stefani Evans and Claytee D. White on July 27, 2016 for the Building Las Vegas Oral History Project. Hunsberger offers a history of his tenure as director of the Las Vegas-Clark County Library District. He discusses the politics of libraries, networking, building libraries, and the importance of recruiting top staff and promoting them.

Oral history interview with Gwendolyn Walker conducted by Claytee D. White on July 15, 2014 for the African Americans in Las Vegas: a Collaborative Oral History Project. Walker discusses her mother founding S.W.A.P. (Students With a Purpose) and the Swapettes, the first precision drill team in Las Vegas, Nevada. Walker also talks about collecting African American memorabilia and founding the Walker African American Museum, and some notable family members.

Oral history interview with Sydney Wickliffe conducted by Claytee D. White on February 01, 2013 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. Wickliffe discusses her childhood in both Long Beach, California and Las Vegas, Nevada. She also discusses working as an auditor for the Gaming Control Board, then as deputy chief. Wickliffe then talks about her position as director of Nevada's Department of Business and Industry and serving as a member of Governor Kenny Guinn's cabinet.

Oral history interview with Patsy Huff Rosenberry conducted by Barbara Tabach on February 24, 2013 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. Rosenberry discusses her husband, Chuck, who worked as a nuclear technologist at the Nevada Test Site, and her work for a group of cardiovascular doctors. Rosenberry also talks about racism in Las Vegas, Nevada and in the southern states of the United States.

Shaw discusses her husband, Rollin, his work at the Nevada Test Site, and moving to various locations for his job. She also tells stories of the Shaws and their fellow Nevada Test Site employees’ parties, of her learning to paint with watercolors, and her children’s educations in Las Vegas, Nevada.
