Oral history interview with Flora and Stuart Mason conducted by David G. Schwartz on February 27, 2010 for the Remembering Jay Sarno Oral History Project. Flora Mason begins by discussing the relationship between her family and the Sarnos. Mason describes that she and her husband socialized with Jay and Joyce Sarno in the 1960s because they lived on the same street in Las Vegas, Nevada. Stuart Mason recounts how the Sarnos were incredibly friendly and Jay occasionally invited him to play golf.

Oral history interview with Stanley Mallin conducted by David G. Schwartz on January 29, 2008 for the Remembering Jay Sarno Oral History Project. In this interview, Mallin discusses his personal history and meeting Jay Sarno in 1940 at the University of Missouri. He describes moving to Atlanta, Georgia with Sarno in the late 1940s to start a tile business. He then talks about their other business building apartment complexes in Atlanta and eventually building the motel Atlanta Cabana in 1958.

Oral history interview with Evel Knievel conducted by David G. Schwartz on May 17, 2007 for the Remembering Jay Sarno Oral History Project. In this interview, Knievel discusses his personal relationship with Jay Sarno. He talks about Sarno’s career in gaming and the business ventures that he was involved with in Las Vegas, Nevada. Knievel recalls anecdotes of their friendship, and the opening of Caesars Palace Hotel and Casino, and Circus Circus Hotel and Casino. Lastly, he recalls stories of gambling with Sarno at his casinos.

Oral history interviews with Evelyn Cappadonna conducted by David G. Schwartz on August 01 and 15, 2008 for the Remembering Jay Sarno Oral History Project. Cappadonna opens her interview by discussing her upbringing in Georgia. She recalls meeting Jay Sarno and his associates in the late 1950s at the Atlanta Cabana Hotel where she was working as a typist. Cappadonna then talks about moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1963 to continuing working for Sarno. She describes Sarno's personality, his personal life, and his family including details about his wife and children.

Oral history interview with Line Renaud conducted by Claytee D. White on January 08, 2015 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. In this interview, Renaud discusses her career as a singer and her experiences being in entertainment and show business. Renaud begins by describing her upbringing in northern France and what life was like in the country during World War II.

Oral history interview with Glenn Dale Richardson conducted by George Bogdanovich on January 29, 2013 for the History of Blue Diamond Village in Nevada Oral History Project. In this interview, Richardson discusses his personal history and arriving to Blue Diamond, Nevada in 1951. He describes living at the Oliver Ranch as caretaker for cattle and chickens. Richardson then talks about his father’s employment as a mechanic for Blue Diamond Mining company. Lastly, Richardson describes living on Mount Charleston near Las Vegas, Nevada.

Oral history interview with Clarence Gilyard conducted by Barbara Paige on December 02, 2014 for the African Americans in Las Vegas: a Collaborative Oral History Project. Gilyard begins the interview by discussing his upbringing on United States Air Force bases, his father's career as an Airman, and the advantages he had attending Air Force schools as a child as opposed to attending public schools, where he may have faced discrimination as an African American.

Oral history interview with Craig Knight conducted by Adriona Jordan on December 01, 2014 for the African Americans in Las Vegas: a Collaborative Oral History Project. Knight begins the interview talking about his childhood in New York, including entertainment at the Apollo Theater, religious activities, and education. He then discusses moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1980 in order to attend Bishop Gorman High School, emphasizing its racial makeup and his time spent playing in the jazz band.

Oral history interview with Clifford R. Clayton conducted by Mechia Sydnor on November 11, 2014 for the African Americans in Las Vegas: a Collaborative Oral History Project. Clayton begins the interview talking about his childhood in Virginia, and his subsequent move to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1960 in order to pursue a career in the military at Nellis Air Force Base. He then discusses working on the Strip in Las Vegas, as well as the influence of organized crime on casino operations.
