The Florence and Jerry Vallen Faculty Papers (approximately 1935-2017) are comprised of personal papers and research files for Florence and Jerry Vallen, the founding dean of the College of Hotel Administration at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). The collection includes research files and drafts for In the Right Place, which was co-authored by Florence and Jerry Vallen. The collection also includes research files and drafts for Jerry Vallen's book, Check-In Check-Out.

The UNLV TV Audiovisual Collection (1980-2023) is comprised of recordings of television programs produced by UNLV TV, a media production facility housed within the Hank Greenspun School of Journalism and Media Studies at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). The collection includes samples of various television programs which include special events, lectures, interviews with prominent speakers and visitors at UNLV, and campus and community related B-roll footage.

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) Faculty Publications (1950-2008) is comprised of reports, scholarly journal articles, and books that were written by UNLV faculty and staff. Publications also include book reviews and conference presentations. Subjects include biology, chemistry, English, and sociology.

The Pueblo Grande de Nevada Photograph Collection (approximately 1920-1980) contains black-and-white photographic prints, negatives, and slides depicting archaeological sites located in Overton, Moapa, Valley of Fire, Red Rock, Pyramid Lake, Kane Springs, Virgin River, the “Lost City,” and Lake Mead, Nevada. Images display the different stages of digging during the archaeological excavation of Pueblo Grande de Nevada.

The Leon Rockwell Photograph Collection (approximately 1850-1979) contains black-and-white photographic prints, negatives, and slides, as well as postcards and tintypes. The images portray the lives of the Rockwell family in southern Nevada, their travels throughout New York and the western United States, and their immediate and extended family members. Also included are images of the volunteer and early firefighters of Las Vegas, Nevada, the Rockwell's family cabin at Mount Charleston, Nevada, and the Rockwell family home in Las Vegas.

The Milt Palmer Photographs (approximately 1950-1991) contain original and reproductions of photographic prints taken by Milt Palmer, a photographer who worked for the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce, and later under the division known as the Las Vegas News Bureau. Palmer captured celebrities and entertainers performing their Las Vegas shows, athletes in various sporting events, and various political figures. The majority of photographs in the collection are from approximately the 1950s to 1960s and some are signed by entertainers.

The George Mortimer Photograph Album of Searchlight, Nevada dates between approximately 1900 and 1910, and contains black-and-white photographic prints illustrating various scenes and individuals in Searchlight, Nevada. Some images are captioned with initials or brief names.

The UNLV Libraries Collection of Project Faultless Photographs (1967 August 08-1968 February) contain black-and-white photographic prints of Project Faultness, a megaton nuclear test site in the Mojave Desert within Nye County, Nevada. The photographs depict scenes near and at the test site; buildings; and the area post-detonation.

The John Nichols Photograph Collection (approximately 1930-1950) is comprised of black-and-white photographic prints depicting the western region of the United States including Southern Nevada, the Hoover Dam (then known as Boulder Dam), Lake Mead, and various desert landscapes. Photographs were collected by former Las Vegas and Boulder City, Nevada resident, John Nichols, who is a longtime art collector and gallery owner based in California.

The Clark County Community College Photograph Collection consists of black-and-white photographic prints dating from approximately 1977 to 1982. Images depict students, student events, administrative staff, academic faculty, and administrative faculty, including two of the college's presidents, Dr. Russell Bloyer and Dr. Judith Eaton.
