Oral history interview with Raul Daniels conducted by Maribel Estrada Calderon on July 03, 2019 for the Latinx Voices of Southern Nevada Oral History Project. In this interview, Daniels discusses his childhood memories of Cuauhtémoc, Mexico and later moving to Las Vegas, Nevada with his family in 1989. He talks about his father’s employment in construction and joining the painters union. Daniels then recalls attending Las Vegas High School, receiving his citizenship, and his experiences attending the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Oral history interview with Erika Castro conducted by Maribel Estrada Calderon on November 12, 2018 for the Latinx Voices of Southern Nevada Oral History Project. In this interview, Castro discusses her early life in Mexico City, Mexico before migrating with her family to North Las Vegas, Nevada in 1992. She describes adapting to the city, her early education, and learning that she was an undocumented immigrant. Castro then talks about Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) and how DACA gave her a vision for a future for the first time.

Oral history interview with Wayne Rowe conducted by Claytee D. White on November 10, 2009 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. In this interview, Rowe discusses his early life and growing up in Las Vegas, Nevada. He talks about his employment at Bally’s Las Vegas Hotel and Casino as a utility porter and joining the United States Army in 1966. Later, Rowe recalls going through the citizenship process, working as a bellman at Bally’s, and the opening of MGM Grand Hotel in 1973. Lastly, Rowe discusses Las Vegas nightlife and the development of the Strip.

Oral history interview with Robert Bolden conducted by Nick Matthews on November 29, 2014 for the African Americans in Las Vegas: a Collaborative Oral History Project. In this interview, Bolden discusses growing up in Las Vegas, Nevada. He talks about his educational experience in Las Vegas, taking the bus to school while living in West Las Vegas, being involved in school sports, and describes the first schools to open on the Westside. Bolden then recalls racial disparities in Las Vegas, African American leaders in his community, and the importance that his education had to him.

The Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV Records (2011-2022) documents the establishment of the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV (formerly known as the UNLV School of Medicine). The materials include meeting agendas and reports from various committees, advisory boards, and the Legislative Counsel Bureau that were assessing economic impact, research strategies, medical education in the state of Nevada, and the development of the Las Vegas Medical District.

The John S. Wright Faculty Papers (1951-1975) are comprised of faculty papers from and about Dr. John S. Wright who was considered one of the founding faculty members at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). The collection documents Wright's involvement in establishing UNLV as a separate university from the University of Nevada, Reno. The collection includes memoranda, correspondence, meeting minutes, and reports from different committees Wright was a part of including Academic Council, Faculty Senate, and other ad hoc committees.

The Real to Reel Documentary Series Records (approximately 1981-1991) consists mainly of production files used for the Real to Reel documentary series which aired on KLVX which was Las Vegas, Nevada's local PBS station in the 1980s. The documentary series was written and produced by journalist Claudia Collins.

The Brian "Paco" Álvarez Professional Papers (1997-2014) are comprised of the personal papers of Las Vegas, Nevada museum curator and arts advocate Brian "Paco" Álvarez. Cultural heritage institutions and events represented in this collection include the Neon Museum's relocated of the La Concha structure, the "Vegas VIP: Vegas Viewed in Postcards" exhibit and "Post Modern 2005" at the Mob Museum for the City of Las Vegas centennial celebration in 2005, and various photograph exhibits at the Liberace Museum.

The Bob Stupak Professional Papers (approximately 1900 to 2007) primarily documents the career of Las Vegas, Nevada casino owner, Bob Stupak. The materials in the collection include the planning of two resorts in Las Vegas, Nevada created by Bob Stupak: Vegas World and the Stratosphere. The collection also includes planning materials for the Titanic Las Vegas, an unbuilt resort envisioned by Stupak. Planning and promotional materials for Stupak's resorts including photographs, memorabilia, audiovisual materials, advertising mockups, and architectural drawings.

The Margot Mink Colbert Papers (approximately 1959-2018) are comprised of materials that represent Colbert's career as a professional dancer, choreographer, and instructor. The materials span Colbert's career as a dancer in New York City at The Juilliard School, instructor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and instructor at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. The materials in this collection also document Colbert's teaching career as well as her professional studio Ballet Mink.
