The aggregate shall be sufficiently free of moisture to enable it to be readily coated with bituminous material. Sixty percent of the aggregate shall have three or more broken faces. The bituminous material shall be emulsified asphalt penetration grade RS-1 or RS-2? as directed by the Engineer and conforming to Section 36 of this specification.
