Description

Another view of high scalers "Hi-Scalers. I personally landed a boat load of dynamite at that sand beach one hot summer day in 1933." Note on back: "Miss Vegas and Stetson were bought by Six Companies. Then Miss Vegas hit a sand wave with a load of Steel and overturned and Sunk. Boat wasn't recovered until Coffer Dam was completed. Wint doubts that Ray ever ran a boat for Six Companies. - James J. Hester, son-in-law of W. A. 'Wint' Davis, 1992."
