Maryann (Timbuck) Rivera was born November 29, 1945 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Rivera’s grandparents arrived to Las Vegas in 1905 and became integrated in the small city by becoming lawyers. Her mother was also involved with community groups, like the Junior League Basketball Team. Rivera married her husband, Lyle, in 1967.
Hanford Searl was born March 02, 1947 in Buffalo, New York. He attended New Mexico Highlands University at Las Vegas, New Mexico and Brigham Young University in Utah. Searl worked as a writer at the Las Vegas Review-Journal and Billboard Magazine.
Eva Martin grew up in Chicago, Illinois. She arrived in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1995. Martin is president and CEO of Martin's Grand McDonald's. The company opertes three McDonald's restaurant locations in northwest Las Vegas.
Roberta Martin grew up in Chicago, Illinois. She earned her law degree from Tuskegee University. In 2012, she moved to Las Vegas, Nevada. Martin serves on the UNLV Foundation Advisory Board.
Gregory Brown came to Las Vegas in 1998 to take a postion teaching history at UNLV. His future wife Jessica, who is the Web Portal Content Coordinator at UNLV, had lived here off and on as a child and moved back to Las Vegas in 2000. They bought a home in the John S. Park Neighborhood in 2002.
