A portrait of William "Gunlock Bill" Hamblin, the brother of Jacob Hamblin. William was one of the First missionaries to Las Vegas. He settled Gunlock, Utah, and was an early Settler in Clover Valley, Nevada. He also discovered the Pioche Mines.

Richard E. Buchanan was born February 11, 1951 in Chicago, Illinois. Buchanan’s family relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1951. He also spent some years living in Laguna Beach, California, and Reno and Pioche, Nevada, yet always returned to Las Vegas. Buchanan worked in a variety of career fields, starting as a construction worker and ending as a mental health technician.

Ronald Bananto was born February 13, 1930 in Coal Run, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Bonanto moved to Pioche, Nevada in 1949. A year later, and after a short period in San Francisco, California, Bonanto relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1950. He lived in Nevada for 29 years and worked for the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department for 23 years. Bananto married Pamela Schofield Bananto.
