The back of the photograph contains a handwritten description, "The Ward Family and others during Christmastime 1907 at a union in Union Township. Dec. 30th. From left to right, the people identified are: (1) Harry Ward (2) Edna Jackson (3) Lottie Ward (4) Maud Schenck (5) Edwin Dunton (6) Ethel Ward (7) Glen Jenkinson (8) Arthur Ward (9) Harry Jenkinson. Taken by WFJ" These individuals are standing in the snow. Note: Lottie Ward later got married and changed her name to Lottie Wengert.
