One of the last steam trains going toward Caliente roundhouse. The roundhouse alone used to employ about 150 men. It was torn down not long after this photograph was taken.
Unidentified man, possibly Mr. Underhill, stands in the middle of the "Underhill Store" in Caliente, Nevada. Inscription reads: "Door behind shelf at right still leads to Lee Phillips' home. Wall is 2" thick stone."
