Oral history interview with José Luis Gutiérrez conducted by Maribel Estrada Calderón and Barbara Tabach on October 1, 2018 for the Latinx Voices of Southern Nevada Oral History Project. Also present during this interview is José's close friend Sergio Salgado, who was interviewed separately for the Latinx Voices project in 2018. José discusses his early life growing up in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, and his migration to Tijuana and then Santa Barbara, California as a teenager. He talks about his restaurant employment history both in California and in Las Vegas, including his time working at the Jolly Parrot, the Dunes Hotel and Casino, and his own eatery: Tortilleria Los Arcos. The Helen J. Stewart Papers (1869-1978) document the life of Las Vegas, Nevada pioneer, Helen J. Stewart. It includes correspondence between Stewart and her children as well as various family legal papers and certificates. The collection also contains Helen J. Stewart's 70th birthday scrapbook, a ledger, and a day book from 1904-1919, as well as several photograph albums and information related to the family burial plot.

The Florence Lee Jones Cahlan Photographs depict locations and events in Las Vegas, Nevada from 1909 to 1980. The photographs primarily depict historical locations, including the Las Vegas Mormon Fort, the Kiel Ranch, and plaques commemorating Las Vegas’s 75th anniversary. The photographs also depict celebrations, including the Diamond Jubilee festivities held to celebrate Las Vegas’s 75th anniversary, plaque dedications, building dedications, and the 50th anniversary of the arrival of the first mail planes in Las Vegas. The photographs include the Kennecott Copper Corporation’s facilities in McGill, Nevada, Western Airlines planes and pilots, and Union Pacific Railroad locomotives.
