Abstract

The River Mountains Trail Partnership Records date from 1995 to 2015 and document the planning and construction of the River Mountains Loop Trail in Clark County, Nevada. The collection contains meeting agendas and minutes, correspondence, project notes, trail maps, land surveys, grant applications, photographic slides of the trail and Lake Mead, environmental assessments, ephemera from National Trails Day, trail guides, interpretive plans, and development reports.

This set includes: electrical plans, HVAC plans, interior elevations, exterior elevations, electrical plans, lighting plans, fixture schedules, construction details, redlining and preliminary sketches.

This set includes drawings for Mr. and Mrs. Chit Yong (client) Harris and Simonicini, Ltd (engineer).

This set includes one preliminary sketch of an unnamed hotel and casino project.

Description

A suite at The Aqueduct at the Sands Hotel. The exterior was designed by Julius Gabrielle, and the interior was designed by Albert Parvin & Company. The suites were furnished at between $18,000 and $22,000 each.

Arum, Bob

Bob (Robert) Arum is the founder and CEO of Top Rank boxing promotions company in Las Vegas, Nevada. Born in New York City, Arum is a former attorney and a member of the International Boxing Hall of Fame. He promoted his first fight for Muhammad Ali in 1966 and moved Top Rank’s headquarters to Las Vegas in 1986. He has produced countless fights in the city and helped to make it “The Fight Capital of the World.”

King David Memorial Chapel was established in 2001 by Palm Mortuaries and Cemeteries. It is located on 2697 East Eldorado Lane in Las Vegas, Nevada. King David Memorial Chapel is “the only memorial chapel and cemetery combination in Southern Nevada dedicated exclusively to the Jewish community.” King David Memorial Chapel is part of the Dignity Memorial network, which is the largest funeral provider in North America. King David Memorial Chapel is also part of the Jewish Funeral Directors Association (JFDA).
