The University of Nevada, Las Vegas Theses, Dissertations, and Honors Papers (approximately 1967-2022) contain the physical copies of the theses, dissertations, and honors papers filed by students of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) from 1967 to 2022. There are approximately 5,756 titles that originate from a wide variety of departments across the UNLV campus, including (but not limited to): history, criminal justice, fine arts, engineering, and the sciences. Electronic theses and dissertations (2017-2020) were transferred to UNLV University Archives for preservation purposes and are not accessible through Special Collections. Specific instructions for viewing those items can be found in the inventory.

The Donald Welch Photograph Collection (approximately 1961-1981) is comprised of photographs of various golf tournaments hosted at the Desert Inn Country Club in Las Vegas, Nevada collected by Welch throughout his career as the Desert Inn's head golf professional. In particular, the collection includes two photograph albums depicting the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) Sealy golf tournament in the early 1970s and a 25th anniversary Desert Inn Country Club commemorative photograph book from 1981.

The Apolonio Sauceda Scrapbooks (1973-2010) document Apolonio "Loney" Sauceda's acting career and his work with the Nevada Association for Latin Americans (NALA) in Las Vegas, Nevada. Two scrapbooks document Sauceda's career as an actor and contain photographs of Sauceda on set, at premieres, with other actors, and depict movie sets at well-known Las Vegas hotels and casinos in the 1980s and 1990s. Newspaper clippings accompany many of the photographs and provide details about locations, major actors, or the producers for each film. The third scrapbook is compiled of newspaper clippings that document the local Las Vegas, Nevada Latinx community and NALA events in the 1970s, ranging from political activism, labor strikes, beauty pageants, and religious gatherings.

The Donna Silva Lighting Design Plans (1986-1996) contain blueprints and schedule binders for a number of projects Silva worked on in Las Vegas, Nevada including the New York-New York Hotel & Casino, The Orleans Hotel & Casino, Golden Nugget, and the MGM Grand Hotel. Also included are lighting plans for the Foxwoods Resort Casino (operated by the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation) in Connecticut, Caesars Atlantic City, and Players Island (now CasaBlanca Resort) in Mesquite, Nevada.

The McNamee Family Papers (approximately 1898-2000) are comprised of family papers of early Nevada settlers, Frank (Francis) Raphael McNamee and Effie Alice Webster McNamee. It contains original family photographs and some documents such as newspaper clippings, award certificates, handwritten deeds, and correspondence about Effie and Frank McNamee Sr., and their eight children, including Frank Jr. and Leo McNamee. There are large folders of photocopied genealogy printouts from Ancestry.com regarding Frank and Effie McNamee.

The Sidney R. Whitmore Collection (approximately 1885-1970) contains land deeds and other documents about Mount Diablo, Nevada; documents detailing parts of his family history; and eight framed paintings of landscapes and portraits.
