Oral history interview with Aaron Shayne Manfredi conducted by Barbara Tabach on December 8, 2021 for the Veterans Oral History Project of Southern Nevada.
Aaron discusses enlisting in the United States Navy after graduating high school and his service from 1993-1996. He talks about his education, his advanced degrees, and his scholarship and service as a University of Nevada, Las Vegas alumnus and President of the UNLV Alumni Veterans Club. Aaron also shares his employment history and current entrepreneurial pursuits as a real estate agent and owner of a landscaping company.

Oral history interview with David Ober conducted by Stefani Evans on October 11, 2017 for the Building Las Vegas Oral History Project. In this interview, Ober discusses his upbringing in Tucson, Arizona and talks about his parents’ careers. He recalls moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1989 to work for his father’s home building business, R. A. Homes, and opening his real estate company, Jorant Commercial. Ober describes joining Temple Beth Sholom, his involvement with the Southern Nevada Home Builders Association, and developing the Desert Shores community. Later, Ober discusses his mother’s career as a teacher in the Clark County School District (CCSD) and her contributions in designing the first program for visually impaired students. Lastly, Ober talks about CCSD naming a school in honor of his parents.

Davis Collection of Aerial Photographs (approximately 1990-1999) contains seven black-and-white photographic prints and one black-and-white photographic negative of aerial views of Las Vegas, Nevada. These photographs are reproductions of originals obtained by David A. Davis from the Nevada Department of Transportation, the United States Geological Survey, and Landiscor Real Estate Mapping.

In the interview, MacDonald discusses living in Henderson, Nevada and Las Vegas, Nevada. MacDonald also discusses McCarran Airport, family, and her various occupations including secretary, bookkeeper, and real estate saleswoman.

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas College of Business and Economics Records (approximately 1969-1998) contain documents created by the College of Business and Economics and the Center for Economic and Business Research at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Materials include economic impact reports, student handbooks, accreditation self-evaluation reports, business surveys, activity reports, memoranda from the Dean's office, and copies of Lieder, a publication created by the Lied Institute of Real Estate Studies and published by the College of Business and Economics.

The Frank Benham Photograph Collection on Goldfield, Nevada (1900s-1947) primarily contains black-and-white photographic prints of buildings and people in Goldfield, Nevada. Also included in the collection are black-and-white photographic prints of nearby mining towns, as well as postcards and one negative. Frank Benham co-owned a real estate business and served as assistant postmaster for Goldfield in the early 1900s.

Oral history interview with Suzie Chenin conducted by Barbara Tabach on September 29, 2015 for the Southern Nevada Jewish Heritage Project. Chenin discusses her father, one of the first Jewish dentists in Las Vegas, Nevada, and moving there when he was stationed at the Nellis Air Force Base. Chenin also talks about her career as a real estate agent and selling advertising for the Las Vegas Sun newspaper.

The Lorenzo Romans Papers (1875-1965) are comprised of photographs, newspaper clippings, a family photograph album, a diary, a diploma, and related ephemera. The materials were owned by Lorenzo Romans, a California real estate developer who moved to Las Vegas late in life after a short visit to Helen Stewart's Las Vegas Rancho in 1894.

The Circus Circus Enterprises Scrapbook consists of articles from 1984 related to the Circus Circus Las Vegas Hotel and their investment properties. The scrapbook includes articles on the entertainment, dining, real estate, and management of Circus Circus Enterprises in Southern Nevada.
