The C. Vern Olmstead Professional Papers (1940-1975) contain materials related to Olmstead’s work as a prominent meat industry executive. The collection pertains to the preparation, cutting, storage, marketing, and distribution of meats including beef, pork, and poultry. Materials include reports, correspondence, newspaper and magazine clippings, photographic prints and slides, and publications regarding topics relevant to the handling and sale of meat in the United States and Canada.

This series (1992-2010) contains academic research papers collected by Peter Collins and include papers authored by Collins. It also includes a DVD copy of a keynote speech from an academic conference, VHS tapes related to casino development, and several unidentifiable partial papers.
The scope of the research is both general and country-specific and deals primarily with issues of problem gambling, ethics, and legalization. Additional materials are specific to three academic researchers; William Eadington of the University of Nevada, Reno, Nevada, Robert Ladouceur of Université Laval de Québec, Canada, and Barry Standish, of the University of Cape Town, Cape Town, South Africa.

Oral history interview with Raya Meron conducted by Claytee D. White on July 14, 2014 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. Meron discusses her upbringing in Israel, moving to Istanbul with her husband, and immigrating to Canada after their divorce. Meron also talks about her career as a showgirl in Las Vegas, Nevada, including being in the Vive les Girls road show in 1965. She then discusses her involvement in helping Cambodian refugees.
