Measurements of reservoir and settling basin on July 17, 1934 and July 19, 1934, before and after passing of city ordinance to reduce water waste. Estimated consumption by refrigeration systems. Estimated per capita water consumption in Las Vegas, Fallon, Winnemucca, and Lovelock.

The papers include mock-ups and finalized projects from Las Vegas hotels and casinos as well as local businesses. The casino material is primarily from the Dunes Hotel and Country Club and the MGM Grand Hotel.

The collection is comprised of professional communication, memoranda, newspaper clippings, membership cards, and manuals from 1930 to 1984 that belonged to Las Vegas, Nevada police officer, Joseph T. LaVoie. The collection contains material about LaVoie's police work, his involvement with various labor organizations, and his work with childrens groups such as the Friends of Youth. The material about LaVoie's work as a police officer dates from 1946 to 1966, when the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department was known as the City of Las Vegas Police Department.

Abstract
The Milt Palmer Photographs (approximately 1950-1991) contain original and reproductions of photographic prints taken by Milt Palmer, a photographer who worked for the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce, and later under the division known as the Las Vegas News Bureau. Palmer captured celebrities and entertainers performing their Las Vegas shows, athletes in various sporting events, and various political figures. The majority of photographs in the collection are from approximately the 1950s to 1960s and some are signed by entertainers. The collection also includes digital reproductions of approximately half of the images found in the collection.
