Included in the collection are issues of the LVJS's newsletter Jazz Notes, promotional materials, blank membership applications, correspondence, information on other regional jazz societies, and photographic prints depicting various events and festivals. A portion of this collection documents LVJS's involvement in saving the KUNV 91.5 FM radio station.

Las Vegas Numismatic Society Records (1963-1974) consist of receipts, membership lists, deposit slips, correspondence, newspaper clippings, photographs, newsletters, and memos. Also included are brochures, newsletters, and postcards from the Sahara Hotel where the Society's first conference was held in 1963. There is a Guide to Personnel and a Service Directory from the Clark County, Nevada School District. Publications from the Nevada Test Site (NTS), Reynolds Electric ad Engineering Company (REECo), and Edgerton, Germeshausen, and Grier, Inc. (EGG) contain references to the donor, Carl G. Taylor.

The Nevada Historical Society Photograph Collection contains photographs of Nevada from 1873 to 1951. The photographs primarily depict the towns of Pioche, Candelaria, and Tonopah in the early-twentieth century. The photographs also depict Nevada Governor Emmett D. Boyle and U.S. Senators William M. Stewart and Key Pittman. The collection contains two images related to the Women's Suffrage movement, including Governor Boyle signing a resolution in favor of the Nineteenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution and Anne Martin's campaign for the U.S. Senate in 1918. Lastly, the photographs also depict mining operations in Bullionville and Candelaria.
