On March 2, 1975, Marilyn Swanson interviewed Theodore R. Garrett (born 1898 in Overbrook, Kansas) about his life in Boulder City, Nevada. Garrett first talks about his move to Las Vegas to work for Six Companies during the construction of Hoover Dam. He then describes his job as a truck driver at the dam, the wages paid at the time, and the construction of the buildings and other housing in Boulder City. Garrett also mentions the food provided to the workers, the recreational activities available, and his family’s move to Boulder City.

She also talks about schools, Boulder Dam, the atomic testing, and her work as a telephone operator. The latter part of the interview includes discussion on changes in Las Vegas, the Helldorado Parade, and changes in weather.

Oral history interview with Linda Faiss, Helen Foley, and Melissa Warren conducted by Claytee D. White on June 28, 2018 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project.

Linda, Helen, and Melissa are founders and managing partners of Faiss Foley and Warren Public Relations and Government Affairs Agency, started in 1998. The women talk about how they met and started their agency, as well as who their first clients were and how they became involved in larger Las Vegas publicity projects. They also discuss their personal lives and their respective interests within their firm.

Brewer's interview starts with him discussing tenure as National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) President beginning in January 2008. He also gives details about the fund raisers that allowed the NAACP to benefit students with grants, support voter outreach and a prison ministry, and provide guidance for those suffering discrimination.
