On March 2, 1977, Neil C. Dalmas interviewed teacher Howard Heckethorn, (born on September 14th, 1922 in St. George, Utah) at Red Rock Elementary School in Las Vegas, Nevada. This interview offers an overview of early education in Nevada. Mr. Heckethorn also discusses Stewart Ranch, Howard Hughes and the Hughes Site, and the migration of the Mormons to the Las Vegas area.

In this interview, Morgan reads her original manuscript that would be used for a book regarding her experience living on Sunrise Mountain near Las Vegas, Nevada. She discusses her religious reasons for going to the mountain, people that she met while on the mountain, and some of her biggest challenges with wildlife and no shelter. His history with Las Vegas is embedded in the 1980s Las Vegas gay scene and education for AIDS. He is and activist and the Executive Director of Aid for AIDS of Nevada. He and Theodore Small are the first same-sex marriage in Nevada.

In this interview, Monaco discusses moving from Montana to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1958. Monaco discusses his career in the U.S. Navy as well as his career in education. Oral history interview with Nadine Cracraft conducted by Barbara Tabach on November 27, 2017 for the Remembering 1 October Oral History Project. In this interview, Nadine Cracraft discusses the development of her career in child and family therapy after moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1991. While describing the work she has done, Cracraft talks about the volunteer counseling services she provided for the survivors of the October 2017 Las Vegas mass shooting. She specifically mentions working with Aria staff members who were struggling with the aftermath of the shooting as well as her time spent working with First Friday to help those impacted by the traumatic event. Throughout the interview, Cracraft explains the different ways people manage their post-traumatic stress disorder and how this knowledge influenced her care of the survivors.
