The UNLV Libraries Collection of Gaming Artifacts and Ephemera (approximately 1863-2012) is comprised of Las Vegas, Nevada casino gaming artifacts; games such as Pai Gow, Las Vegas themed board games, Piquet, and punchboards; and ephemera items about gaming. The collection contains postcards and newspaper clippings advertising for casinos in Puerto Rico, the United Kingdom, the Bahamas, France, and California. The collection also contains information on gaming legislation in Europe and the United States, writings on gambling systems, gaming tickets, and various pamphlets on how to play different games such as roulette and baccarat, as well as several decks of souvenir playing cards, dice, and buttons.

The UNLV Libraries Collection of Gold Strike Resorts Inc. Promotional and Press Materials includes promotional materials, company newsletters, and newspaper clippings for Gold Strike Resorts Inc. located in Jean, Nevada dating from 1986 to 2005.

The UNLV University Libraries Collection of Boulder City, Hoover Dam, and Lake Mead National Recreation Area Maps and Brochures (1927-1998) primarily contains regional maps, brochures for local points of interest, and subdivision plat maps of Boulder City, Lake Mead, and Hoover (Boulder) Dam.

The MX (Missile eXperimental) Reviews and Reports (1980-1981) contain impact study reports and committee reports from various Southern Nevada agencies. There are also correspondence and newspaper clippings from the Shoshoni Sacred Land Association.

The UNLV University Libraries Collection on International Lotteries is comprised of lottery tickets, advertisements, prize breakdowns and drawing schedules from around the world, dating from 1714 to 1979. A bulk of the materials come from the United States and Europe and are from the 1800s to the 1900s.

The AH'-WAH-NEE Exhibition Records (2020-2021) contain materials related to the AH'-WAH-NEE Exhibit which was the first exhibit at the UNLV Donna Beam Gallery featuring local and regional Native American women artists. UNLV resides on the traditional homelands of the Nuwuvi, Southern Paiute People. The exhibit was curated by MFA Art student Fawn Douglas (2021), and ran November 1-December 10, 2021. The records contain exhibit planning documents, correspondence, publicity, loan agreements, and photographs of objects and installation views for exhibit catalogs. Also included are photographs and videos taken during the symposium events at the Marjorie Barrick Museum of Art Auditorium and the Paul Harris Theatre and the exhibit's closing event held at the Donna Beam Gallery. The collection also includes archived web captures of the AH'-WAH-NEE exhibition website and for Nuwu Art + Activism Studios. AH'-WAH-NEE is Paiute for 'balance'.
