Patron provided the following comment: Note that the depot is wood. This means they are likely at the Bullfrog Goldfield Railroad Depot. The other depot in Rhyolite (still standing) was made of rock and owned by the Las Vegas and Tonopah Railroad. The Las Vegas High School Tales of Las Vegas Collection consists of two hand-bound books written by the 1924 modern history class and the 1925 United States history class at Las Vegas High School. The two books, both entitled "Tales of Las Vegas", chronicle Las Vegas, Nevada history starting in the 17th century with the Spanish Jesuit and Franciscan Monks. The books then focus on the 1905 "boom" stage of Las Vegas, discussing topics including Mormons, Native Americans, and mining. The two books are similar in content but not identical, and both contain photographs of early Las Vegas, Nevada life.
Paul William Warner was born May 22, 1900. He later moved to Las Vegas, Nevada and worked in mining and ranching. He served four terms in the Nevada State Assembly (1945, 1947, 1949, and 1951). He relocated to Mountain Springs, on the road to Pahrump, and helped to create the town. Warner died on January 31, 1980.
