Gay, Sam, 1860-1932

Sam Gay was the Sheriff of Clark County, Nevada between 1911 and 1931. He was born March 1, 1860 in Prince County, Canada and grew up in Massachusetts. Gay moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1905 to work as a bouncer in the Arizona Club. He was chosen by the first Sheriff of Clark County, Charles C. Corkhill, to be his deputy in 1909, and he later became Sheriff himself. He died August 24, 1932 in Las Vegas.

Benjamin Harrison V was an American legislator and English dissenter in the colony and later state of Virginia. Harrison was born on April 5, 1726 in Charles City County, Virginia and passed away April 24, 1791 at his home where he was born.

Harrison, Benjamin, 1833-1901

Benjamin Harrison was an American lawyer who served as the 23rd President of the United States from 1889 to 1893. Harrison was born on August 20, 1833 in North Bend, Ohio. At the beginning of the American Civil War, Harrison was a practicing lawyer and accepted a commission into the Union Army. After the Civil War, Harrison unsuccessfully ran for senator and later ran for President of the United States, which he won in 1888. Benjamin Harrison passed away on March 13, 1901 in Indianapolis, Indiana at the age of 67.

Richthofen, Manfred, Freiherr von, 1892-1918

Manfred Albrecht Freiherr von Richthofen was a fighter pilot allegiant to the German Empire in World War I and is credited with being the most successful fighter pilot during the war. Known as "Baron Richthofen" in English, along with painting his plane red, led to his moniker of the "Red Baron". Manfred Albrecht Freiherr von Richthofen died April 21, 1918 from wounds sustained in combat at the age of twenty-five.

Tiberti, Renaldo M., 1951-

Renaldo Milan Tiberti is a businessman and philanthropist who operates several restaurants and taverns in the Las Vegas, Nevada area. Tiberti was born in 1951 in Las Vegas, Nevada to Jelindo Angelo "J. A." and Marietta Tiberti. When Jelindo Tiberti retired, Renaldo succeeded him in running the Tiberti Fence Company, the largest in Nevada. As of 2020, Renaldo Tiberti operates nine restaurants and taverns, Tiberti Fence Co., Tiberti Property Management Co., and Putters Gaming Group.

Williams, Edith J. Crawford, 1888-1967

Edith J. Crawford Williams was born April 17, 1888 in Rygate, Vermont. She was married to Nevada State Assemblyman and University of Nevada Board of Regents member Frank Williams. Williams died December 1967.
