Moss, Corinne Wollman

Corinne "Corky" Moss (née Wollman; April 22, 1924 – 2001) was a philanthropist involved in establishing and supporting multiple educational and community efforts in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was the daughter of Murray Wollman, a Las Vegas landowner and developer, and his wife Agnes. The family moved to Las Vegas in 1936, where Moss graduated from Las Vegas High School in 1941. She graduated from Stanford University in 1945 and married Melvin S. Moss in 1946, with whom she had two daughters.

Beckley, William Bruce, 1915-1986

William Bruce Beckley was born on April 22, 1915 to Leva A. Grimes and his father, William Beckley. He went on to be an attorney in Las Vegas, Nevada and married Carolina Donathan in 1962. The couple had one son, Doug Beckley. Bruce and his younger sister Virgina donated their family home to the Historic Las Vegas Homes exhibit at the Clark County Heritage Museum. He died in October of 1986.

Lawrence, Frank, 1883-1960

Frank Lawrence was a film editor who worked on silent and early sound films between 1917 and 1936. Born on June 15, 1883, Lawrence worked for film companies including Vitagraph Studios and Universal City Studios. On 1918, he married Viola Lawrence, a fellow editor considered to be the first female film editor in Hollywood. During his career, Lawrence performed editing on films including Hell's Angels (1930). He died on July 28, 1960.

Neilan, Marshall A., 1891-1958

American silent film actor, director, and producer Marshall Neilan was born on April 11, 1891 in San Bernadino, California to Mary Blanche Brown and Michael Ambrose Neilan. He is most known for his work directing early Mary Pickford films in the 1910s. Neilan spent majority of his career working for Twentieth Century-Fox Film Corporation from 1944 to 1957.
