Oral history interview with Isabella Jessie Curtis conducted by Andrew B. Levy on February 15, 1979 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Curtis first talks about her career in waitressing at several restaurants and casinos in Las Vegas, Nevada. She also discusses her involvement in politics, her early recreational activities, and the atomic testing. Curtis then describes living in Sandy Valley, Nevada, and some of her first memories of the Union Pacific train depot in Las Vegas.

Oral history interview with David Bruce Dill conducted by Luise A. Soholt on March 13, 1975 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Bruce Dill discusses his experience as a researcher in physiology, specifically in Boulder City, Nevada. Dill first discusses his educational background, studies done around the world, and his interest in the effects of heat on the workers of Boulder Dam. He then discusses the topics and findings of some of his studies, including one on heat cramps and one on a comparison between sweating in a dog versus in a human.

Oral history interview with Hal G. Curtis conducted by Bill Teepe on February 24, 1977 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Curtis talks first about his work on the Union Pacific Railroad before discussing changes and development in Las Vegas, Nevada, including development on the Strip and Downtown areas. He also talks about Block 16, the El Rancho Vegas fire, social clubs, and religion.

Curtis covers life in Southern Nevada since 1942, including his personal history, and the early development of the Nevada Test Site. During the interview, Curtis also discusses early tourism and socio-economic progress in Southern Nevada.

Oral history interview with Archie Curtis conducted by Lawrence R. Biggs on March 07, 1979 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Curtis discusses athletics in Nevada, racial discrimination on the Las Vegas, Nevada Strip, social and environmental changes, and the local health effects of the early atomic tests.

Oral history interview with Ruth and Jake Dieleman conducted by James M. Greene on November 15, 1974 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project. The Dielemans discuss their life in Southern Nevada. Ruth first talks about growing up in Searchlight, Nevada, and her experiences as an educator. Jake discusses immigrating to the United States and working in construction rigging at the Hoover Dam. He also discusses his work in various Las Vegas, Nevada casinos and in the state legislature.

Oral history interview with Eldon W. and Arnie Cunningham conducted by Dorothy Ritenour on November 30, 1975 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. The Cunningham’s discuss Las Vegas and Henderson, Nevada during the 1950s. They also discuss prospecting, gambling, and World War II.

Oral history interview with Harvey Diederich conducted by K.J. Evans on January 4, 1999 for the Las Vegas Review-Journal First 100 Oral History Project. Diederich first discusses his background and education in journalism and later discusses the relationship between the Las Vegas News Bureau and hotel/casino publicists. Diederich then discusses some of his specific projects, such as those dealing with celebrities. Diederich also mentions some of the individuals he has worked for and the various cities he has travelled to for work.
