Richardson's father was William Ulrich Beckley, owner of Beckley's Men's Furnishing. She discusses her family and the early activities of the Service League, the forerunner of the Junior League of Las Vegas, Nevada.

The three interviewees discuss their early experiences teaching in Las Vegas, Nevada elementary schools beginning between 1924 and 1926.
