In 2006, SK Schafer/Skydance Studio was contracted by the USFS to create of exhibits and wayside panels for the Interim Kyle Canyon Visitor Center in the Spring Mountains National Recreation Area (SMNRA). Six outdoor Wayside and five indoor Exhibit Panels provided visitors with information about the canyon’s Cultural History, Geology, Ecology, and Endemic Species. A large,10 x 4 foot, color mural with a Key Panel below depicted 50 species found Kyle Canyon and provided visitors with a glimpse of the diversity of animal life present there.
