Scope and Contents
The Lake Mead National Recreation Area (LMNRA) Field Notebook was created in 2013 by SK Schafer/Skydance Studio in collaboration with the National Park Service for use as a Field Notebook on ranger-lead elementary school class field trips at LMNRA.
Designed to be an student activity book, the LMNRA Field Notebook provides general park orientation as well as providing a place to record the days observations and an opportunity to learn more about weather, local plants and animals, cultural history and geology.
