In 2000, SK Schafer/Skydance Studio painted a 35 x 15 acrylic mural on clayboard for the Henderson Bird Viewing Preserve Visitor Center to educate visitors about the preserve’s bird species. Work included an interpretive key that was displayed below the framed painting. Located within the Water Reclamation Facility, and covering approximately 140 acres, this premier birdwatching spot in southern Nevada is home to thousands of migratory waterfowl and numerous resident desert birds.
