Scope and Contents
The Professional papers series (approximately 1950-2018) consists of correspondence, tear sheets, test and final photographic prints, story ideas and assignment notes, business records, model contracts, and personal papers relating to Robert Scott Hooper’s life and career. The materials document Hooper’s creative work for national and regional publications, hotels and casinos in Las Vegas and southern Nevada, and local businesses. Also included are creative projects and marketing materials. Early materials and personal papers document Hooper’s family history, his interest in automobile racing and culture, and his time serving in the Army National Guard.
