All educational activities in this collection correlate with K-12 curricula for the State of Nevada. In developing each activity, the authors consulted major subject area standards, focusing on intermediate, middle, and high school levels. For the social studies standards, authors chose to correlate intermediate level activities to fourth grade standards because the fourth grade year is dedicated to the study of Nevada. For other subject areas, intermediate-level standards correlate with third or fifth grade achievement or performance indicators based on what is available in each of the curricular sets.
